Offenburg is looking forward to the White Dinner 2026.
An elegant picnic in the heart of Offenburg. And open to everyone: friends of the now traditional ‘White Dinner’ are invited to dress in white, unpack their picnic at the long tables on the market square, chat and enjoy a bite to eat. Please bring your own food and drink, white crockery, glasses and cutlery. The White Dinner will be accompanied by music from Randy Club – a real highlight.

A treat for all wine lovers. As is tradition, visitors can look forward to a varied programme spanning four days of festivities. Fantastic bands are on hand to get the crowd in the mood for celebration and enjoyment. As is tradition, the Oberkirch Wine Princess will open the festival on Friday and kick off the four days of celebrations. There will once again be plenty on offer for young and old alike.

Winegrowing has a long tradition in Gengenbach. Over a thousand years ago, Benedictine monks planted the first vines here in Gengenbach. And so, over 1,130 years ago, the foundations were laid for winegrowing in the Ortenau region. Not only did numerous vineyards spring up, which still bear witness to this era today. Wines from this region can be tasted during the Gengenbach Wine and Town Festival. The old town continues to provide a unique atmosphere.

The ‘Culinary Wine Walk’ has become a firm favourite. Hiking enthusiasts and wine connoisseurs are invited to walk from ‘Hell to Paradise’ through the beautiful vineyards of Oberkirch. The 7 km route passes Oberkirch’s landmarks – the Schauenburg ruins and Gaisbach Castle – and promises a special hiking experience with stunning views over Oberkirch and down to the Rhine valley.

The Ortenau Wine Festival is taking place for the 67th time in the heart of Offenburg and is one of the largest and most beautiful wine festivals in Baden.
