Fun for a good cause: 
Every second weekend in September,
next time from 12 - 14 September 2025, the annual charity classic car rally ‘Drehmoment e.V.’ takes place. Be part of it! The rides take you through the impressive Ortenau countryside along the Baden Wine Route, the Black Forest and Alsace.

The charity project

The Albert Schweitzer School in Kehl is a special school for children and young people in need of support from the region. It has a training workshop that it has to finance itself.

The children learn to work with metal in the workshop and the curriculum includes the restoration of vintage cars. The purpose is to prepare the children and young people for vocational training and a professional life. The school has already won numerous prizes for this project.

We are particularly pleased to have Peter Kraus, classic car fan and musician, as patron of the project.

The principle of the Charity Rally

There are picture searches with tasks to solve. Each penalty point is a 1-euro donation for the Albert Schweitzer School. Everyone has a 1,000 point credit.
