The total length of the Black Forest Winter Challenge is approx. 500 km and is divided into a prologue and 4 stages with various special stages and tests. There will be no tests on selected sections of the route to allow participants to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The starting distance between the vehicles is 1 minute - each team receives a road book and the necessary kerbs.3. AUTHORISED VEHICLES
A driver wishing to enter his vehicle for this event must ensure that his vehicle is authorised for use on public roads in the country through which the rally passes on the day of scrutineering and for the duration of the event. The organiser may reject a vehicle that does not comply with the spirit of the periods and the visual requirements. The organiser has the sole right to classify the cars (including merging). Car changes within the class are generally possible, but will be penalised with 100 minus points. If the car differs from the original class, it will only be taken into account in the overall classification.Classification classes:
Era I: Vehicles up to 1946
Era II: Vehicles from 1947 to 1970
Era III: Vehicles from 1971 to 1979
Era IV: Vehicles from 1980 to 1999
All-wheel drive vehicles

The organiser has the right to postpone the event for reasons for which it is not responsible (e.g. lack of participants, force majeure, epidemic or pandemic). Participants will be notified of this using the contact details provided in the registration form. In the event of postponement of the event, claims on the part of the participants are excluded.6. ENTRY FEE
The entry fee amounts to EUR 2,250.00. This includes an environmental package of EUR 50.0. This can be cancelled on request. In this case the entry fee is EUR 2,200.0. With the environmental package you support the learning forest initiated by us and the Albert Schweitzer School and offset your rally CO2 emissions. The early bird discount of EUR 300 (EUR 1,950.00 entry fee) is valid until 31 March 2014. The entry fee applies per team (2 persons). The entry fee includes lunch (incl. drinks), participation in the evening events (incl. a selection of drinks) and a starter pack (road book, give-aways, rally support, etc.). Also included are timekeeping, photo documentation, all test locations and authorisations.Refund
Entry fee is refundable. A processing fee of EUR 250.0 is due in the event of cancellation after the entry has been submitted. Payment of the entry fee constitutes an obligation to participate. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
A processing fee of EUR 250.0 will be charged for rebooking to the following year.
In the event of cancellation by 31.07.24 a processing fee of EUR 250.0 will be charged.
In the event of cancellation by 30.10.24, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged.
In the event of cancellation from 01.11.24, 100% cancellation fee will be charged.For a processing fee of EUR 250.0, a complete replacement (driver, co-driver, vehicle) can be reported by 31.12.24 at the latest.
7. TRAFFIC RULES
Any team that does not comply with the traffic regulations is subject to the following penalties:
a) 1st offence - 100 demerit points
b) 2nd offence - 300 penalty points
c) 3rd offence - exclusion
Exceeding the maximum speed permitted by law by more than 50% will result in the exclusion of the team. The traffic regulations (StVO) must be strictly adhered to. In the event of an offence, each team is responsible to the supervisory bodies and must be treated as a normal road user.8. BORDKARTEN / STARTABSTAND / KONTROLLEN
Jedes Team erhält bei Start seine Bordkarte. Diese ist bei der letzten Zeitkontrolle eines jeden Wertungstages unaufgefordert zurückzugeben. Jedes Team ist für die Bordkarte selbst verantwortlich. Bordkartenverlust führt zum Wertungsverlust.
Ausschluss der Teilnehmer:
> vorsätzliches Blockieren der Strecke
> Behinderung anderer Teilnehmer beim Überholen
> unsportliches Verhalten
Startabstand zwischen den Fahrzeugen beträgt der Startabstand 1 Minute (Änderungen vorbehalten)
Kontrollen:
Zeitkontrollen (ZK): Zur Überwachung der gleichmäßigen Fahrweise und zur Sicherstellung des organisatorischen Ablaufs, zum Abschließen und Neubeginn einer Etappe werden Zeitkontrollen (ZKs) an verschiedenen Punkten der Strecke eingerichtet. Die genauen Standorte der ZKs und die Etappen-Sollzeiten sind den Teilnehmern aus den Fahrtunterlagen bekannt.
Durchfahrtskontrollen (DK): Mit Hilfe von Passierkontrollen (PKs) wird überprüft, ob die vorgegebene Fahrtstrecke durch die Teilnehmer eingehalten wird. Die Lage der PKs ist den Teilnehmern nicht bekannt.
Geheime Gleichmäßigkeits-Kontrollen (GZK): Bei Gleichmäßigkeitsprüfungen wird die Einhaltung der geforderten Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit überwacht.
Bei Sollzeitprüfungen (SLP) wird die festgesetzte Zeit mittels Zeitendrucker, Lichtschranken und Schlauch gemessen. Bei Sollzeitprüfungen (SLP) gibt es keine geheimen Schnittkontrollen.9. SCORING
The time measurements are carried out using a stopwatch, time printer, light barrier and hose. The tests are supervised by judges.
Scoring:
The allocation of points for each stage will be specified in the driving documents.
The winner is the participant with the most points. In the event of a tie, the older vehicle wins.
Winners are determined in the various classes (point 3), as well as an overall winner from the eras (I-IV) and the special all-wheel-drive classification.
Year of construction factor for the overall ranking:
Vehicles of era I receive a factor of 1.15 on the points.
Vehicles of era II of 1.05
Era III vehicles from 1.02
Era IV vehicles from 1.00
All-wheel drive vehicles from 0.95
(Applies only to the target time, target time and regularity tests, but not to the skill tests and passage controls).10. PROTESTS
Protests of any kind are not permitted.
11. OBSTRUCTION
